One of those giddy moments...

Winter.
Cold! The teeth chattering, bone numbing cold.
How good it is, to stay snuggled up all cozy and warm in the bed, early in the mornings! The peace!
And then, the monstrous, most awful thing comes to life, just to shatter the blissful moment. The ALARM! Oh you wretched, wretched thing!!

Time - 4.30 am.
What can a person do, but wake up and get ready for the class (no other option in my case)?
So, I gear up, to face whatever the day has in store for me and head out.

I sit in the car and drive up to the destination (er... at-least the driver does). The city roads, usually buzzing with traffic and all the randomness in the world, are almost empty. The streets are less noisy and less polluted.
Everything is peaceful. See how it's come back to taunt me??
So, I roll down the window, all the better to take in the surroundings. The frigid air raised goose-bumps, but felt good. The wind rushed on with such speed that, for a moment, the eyes watered. It helped my sleep-numbed mind to clear and wake up. It felt so exhilarating that, I had to laugh out loud. It was one of those giddy moments. It was a mood-lifting experience, which gave me just the right kind of boost to face the many uncertainties, for today.

I'll have to remind my sleep-muddled mind to recall this, so I can wake up again tomorrow and the next day...and forever after. No one should be too caught up in their lives to overlook such wee little awesomenesses.

Smiles, all! :D
